For the public sector
A minister’s or director’s calendar is run by an assistant, who schedules, reschedules and cancels meetings on the leader’s behalf, with both names kept in the log. Deputies and department heads see the calendars of the departments they oversee.
For business
Managers see their departments’ calendars, and meetings arrive in the familiar phone calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook — via a personal subscription link.
Frequently asked questions
Who can see my calendar?
A meeting is visible to its participants. Your whole calendar is open to the director, the supervisor and head of your department, and senior managers along the “Reports to” chain. Other colleagues can’t see it.
Can I view employees’ calendars in the web portal?
Employees’ calendars and the assistant’s work on behalf of the director are available in the mobile app. In the web portal, you get your own calendar in a monthly grid: meetings, task deadlines and company events.
Is there sync with Google Calendar and Outlook?
Yes, one-way: through a personal subscription link, your meetings show up in Google Calendar, Outlook or the iPhone calendar. Meetings created there don’t make it into eKadr.
Are meeting titles visible on the lock screen?
Yes, iPhone lock screen widgets show meeting and task titles. If that’s not desirable, place widgets only on the home screen.
Are there recurring meetings and video calls?
Not yet: each meeting is created separately, and you can put a Zoom or other video call link in the “Location” field.
